The actual reason why I write about remote work

Hey,

I'm Sergio Pereira, and this is the Remote Work newsletter

Last week I told you about the tight funnel in remote job applications, and how JobsCopilot.ai can help with the top part of it, the actual finding and applying to jobs.

Today, allow me to tell you the actual reason why I'm writing this newsletter for almost 70 weeks non-stop. And why I'm writing about remote work for over 2 and a half years on Twitter and Linkedin. And why I've created a private Slack community to help remote job seekers.

I'm very passionate about this, because it did change my life back in the day. Like I tweeted a a few times, remote work increased my income, gave me the network, and a range of professional experiences that I'd never had working in the office.

And the part I'm more passionate is to share the word, so that I may impact other people to operate an equally transformative change in their own lives.

And let me tell, I do celebrate when I see someone win! I love to see you all win, and it does bring back to mind the celebration I had myself back in 2016, when I landed my first remote job.

And this week it happened again. At the Remote Jobs Braintrust Slack we celebrated the success of Fernando, a remote worker from Brazil who accepted a life-changing offer to work remotely for a US company.

These testimonials makes it all worth to me. I'll definitely continue writing online about remote work and how to land remote jobs:
